United Rentals new Aluminium Manhole Shoring Box offers all the benefits of using United Rentals other robust yet still lightweight aluminium shoring systems, but with in-built 525mm returns to create a semi-4-sided system that is perfect for use in manholes and standalone pits.
The Aluminium Manhole Shoring Box uses the same struts as our Modular Aluminium Panel System and has a total capacity of 20kPa. At just 283kg per panel, this shoring solution is incredibly lightweight and, in good soil conditions, can save contractors a lot of time and money by being able to use such a lightweight system.

United Rentals Aluminium Manhole Shoring Boxes are an incredibly versatile and safe trench shoring system for general construction and utilities contractors, with the flexibility to use a range of different struts. Our shoring boxes are designed to effectively support trenches up to any depth, provided the Working Load Limit (WLL) of the relevant box is not exceeded.
