Holding tanks are hooked up to restroom trailers or mobile offices to provide fresh water and contain wastewater. Freshwater holding tanks provide fresh water for the sinks, toilets and showers in restroom trailers, office trailers and shower trailers. Waste holding tanks contain the wastewater produced.
Regular maintenance of holding tanks, especially waste tanks, is important for proper functionality and to avoid any unpleasant odors. We recommend emptying the waste holding tank immediately after a large event with high usage. For long-term rentals, we recommend emptying and rinsing the tanks at least monthly. United Rentals technicians will come to your location to handle wastewater pumping, replenishing fresh water and rinsing tanks.
Both freshwater and waste holding tanks are compatible with restroom trailers, office trailers and shower trailers to contain wastewater and provide fresh water for sinks, toilets and showers. Porta potty containment trays are specifically designed for use with one-station porta potties.
